STUDY CAMPAIGN FOR UMBRA SHIFT
YOU-THE DESIGNER is a study case campaign designed for Umbra/Shift. The campaign addresses the role that the customer plays in the life of a product. By selecting a desired object and introducing it to our home, we are building a representation of ourselves. The interior design is a reflection of our inner self.
We are the designers of our personal space and experience.

Umbra is a home accessories design and manufacturing company based in Toronto, Canada. Established in 1978 by childhood friends Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan, the company started with designing window shades for small apartments. Later on the brand extended its design team and is currently employing over 30 designers in Canada and abroad.

We all are the designers of our own space and time.
